He has significant trial experience, having conducted criminal matters before Sessions Courts as well as Special Courts under the Prevention of Corruption Act and Enforcement Directorate prosecutions. He leads a committed team of advocates engaged in complex, pan-India litigation, with a strong focus on appellate practice, constitutional challenges, and intricate commercial disputes.

Adv. Dhawan has worked closely with eminent Senior Advocates including Mr. Sidharth Luthra and Mr. Sanjay Hegde, and regularly briefs leading legal minds such as Mr. Mukul Rohatgi and Mr. J.P. Cama. These collaborations have provided him exposure to precedent-setting cases and enriched his strategic depth.

In addition to courtroom advocacy, he has substantial experience in arbitration. He currently represents clients in multiple arbitration proceedings and has also served as Sole Arbitrator in a dispute between M/s. Supertech (P) Ltd. and homebuyers.
